Surrendering your Newf 
Sometimes, people realize they can no longer properly care for their dog. We understand that life can bring unexpected challenges, making it necessary to surrender a dog at times. While this can be a challenging process for everyone, it is undoubtedly preferable to letting the dog suffer and live a poor quality of life. If you are facing this difficult decision, we are here to help you, regardless of the situation.
OWNCRescue is a Newfoundland-specific rescue, and unfortunately, we can’t accept mixes or other breeds.
IT IS NEVER OK TO TO ABANDON YOUR ANIMAL. IT PUTS YOUR PET AT RISK AND IT’S ILLEGAL!

We will contact you and go over the information on your surrender request. This is also a time to ask any questions you might have.
