As 2019 is drawing to a close, OWNC would like to acknowledge all the accomplishments of our amazing Newfoundland dogs and dedicated owners during the last year.
Awards
Newfoundland dogs who earned AKC titles and/or NCA Titles from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019 are eligible for acknowledgement. Awards will be presented at the February Club Meeting.
Application for awards must be received by January 15, 2020.

Lamar earned his first Dock Diving tile, jumping 16’0″ – Gold Cup’s Soul of the Sea, CGC, TKN, DJ
Cash earns his WD
Cash earned his WD this weekend at the HANC water test.
Ace earns CGC titles and Scentwork awards
Ace is currently working towards his AKC Scentwork Novice title, passed legs in Handler Discrimination, Buried, Container and Interior hides, with 2 speed awards at his 1st event weekend.
Ace also qualified for his CGC, Urban CGC and Community CGC titles. He is now volunteering with a local pet therapy program and a national pet therapy program.

What a weekend! Sugar-Mtn’s Take the Money and Run “Cash” is now a GCH….
BUT I’m not done… Sugar-Mtn’s I Love the Nightlife “Tiki” is NOW a CH… Lil grey spitfire did it!
Boomer earns his VN
OVER THE MOON… In true Boomer form, he went out with a bang this weekend in his namesake Oklahoma… He got his CD this morning and his Championship this afternoon.

Boomer earned his Novice Rally title at this year’s Newf National.
Finnegan Fantastic at Nationals
To say Finnegan had a fantastic week at the NCA National specialty is an understatement! New CGC, new RN, new TKN Titles and he saved the best for last by being awarded AKC Select dog & 1st AOM.
